Im happy with my 2007 forester base model. Barely any electronics. I even splurged on a Bluetooth to FM transmitter.

I like as little electronics as possible in vehicles lol

I take my bear advice from Leonardo. What’s more Overland that just fighting the bear yourself and sleeping INSIDE a horse. I want to know who’s sponsoring this adventure.

Yea, those Rightline tents don't have floors, which can suck with muddy/dirty bed.
Yes, that was at AOAA about 2 1/2 years ago.

    Yea, clearly a disadvantage.

Since I'm not overland enough, I switched to ground tent. Takes about the same time to set up/break down as bed tent, and can leave it pitched at campground on multi day trips.

Which head unit do you have in that? It should have a standard din width unit in there. They are so easy and affordable to upgrade to something exponentially better.

Its crazy and true...Its cause most people in NJ thinks theyre better than everyone else and their shit dont stink. Or they think they were the first pioneers of building a truck and cross-country traveling or something and everyone else who does it or tries is a poser. Or their just DB's... Sucks to be "affiliated" with such a group, but it is what it is

I think I saw a preview of this on mountian state overlands instagram story, so if I had to guess I’d say ok4wd sponsored it.

He's a poser. Skywalker did it first in the '80s. No one else is allowed to do it now.

This is correct. Just saw their ad for winch line bear leashes.

If I overlanded a tree and forgot to post it on the gram, does it still count?

Major props to my wife who still manages 3+ mile hikes at over 6 months pregnant.

I have a list I’m ready to publish. Lots of good parts minus the frame. 6 more months and the law of “possession” will prevail

Don’t forget to do January 2021 since I’m in there twice. It’s cool Eric I know how much you wanna be like me, you wish you were up there on that adventure too.
