We are supposed to reuse for 5 shifts. We have enough supply right now that they haven’t started reprocessing yet. They were going too but too many people complained.

I stash canned pumpkin in the cupboard for when I get the itch to make dessert, which I did tonight because my body is sore as hell and I'm a little grumpy.

I almost forgot to add sugar to it.... Almost...not like that one time @Twizted :anonymous:

    Crisis averted.

I’m tired. I have a headache. Wearing this mask is making me light headed and dizzy.

What’s the spray you spoke about? We’re not reprocessing either yet but unknown how long they’re expecting staff to reuse.

    You doing well I hope?

I think its supposed to be some hydrogen peroxide solution, from what I have heard ffrom medical staff giving updates around here.

The spray they use when doing the test fitting for the n95 masks. I could taste it both times and my glasses kept fogging up.

I’m doing okay I guess. Just busy and tired. Trying to get back in routine of working nights.

That’s what I thought she might be talking about.
We use Vaporized Hydrogen Perixide to sterilize heat/moisture sensitive items for surgery.
My Admin have asked me to explore utilizing this process for N95’s to which I emphatically said no.
Anything porous will absorb residual peroxide and can create respiratory problems as well as chemical burns to skin if too much residual is present. The odor is prominent and I can imagine some could actually taste the off gassing.
