Well shit. I've been waiting all weekend for a registration because I followed the vF instructions lol. has there been a newer version of vF released since Friday? I installed an AGM battery a couple months ago and had no idea I needed all this... and your email telling me this just now came through lmao

That is my fault for assuming when people open the vF Flasher and see their name and the buttons not grey they would know it is already registered in their name..

What is the max charging voltages you guys are going to need? So I can put together a basic tutorial.

and you can use my file as an example

I think 14.6 is pretty close to max.

I don’t think so, it’s a stock tune with only the alternator settings changed. You’ll lose 2.0 or whatever you have when you flash the test tune.

Between 14.4 and 14.8, so 14.7 would probably be good.

@OVTune....Does this mean a person like myself who is flash kit owner does not need to wait for an email from you with a vF Tuner registration key?

If you have your vF Tuner master key, and your system ID is already registered (shows your name next to it) you are good to go.

new version of vF Tuner will be released tonight :
    - Updated Alternator control tables
    - Support for 2018 ATs
    - Support for 2019 ATs

Ok, I'll take a look at vF Tuner later tonight, but from what I recall I couldn't do much. Alot of the icons were grey out.

Confirmed here as well - thanks! Measured 14.33 at the battery both during initial start/high idle and when warmed up. Northstar indicated anything 14.1 and above is sufficient for their battery, so this is perfect without asking too much of the alternator. Now I'm curious what else was needed.

This is exactly what threw me too. You still have to "open" (button) one of the stock files per your ECU version. Then spend the credits and in the future you can open any file in that ECU version.

Hit the open button and navigate to the vFtuner folder where it installed.
    Mine is at C:\vF Tuner\vF Tuner\Tacoma
