Good! Then all this battery stuff will be finished up for the few that need it. After that, hopefully you'll have time to finish up 2.0 Final+Final for the rest of us uncleansed masses. :D

Yes double click that aka open vF tuner first.
I would open up the instructions he made though. He goes through it step by step.

Friday in the instructions I stopped at "send System ID info" lol

Mat, will there be a feature or option to compare two files and have the software highlight or tell you which values are different? I could see that being very useful.

The Optima Yellow Tops I have in my truck take 14.8V to fully charge. This summer I am also adding in a battery into the bed for my camp buildout so there is potential for a very heavy load on that alternator, possibly 100A or so. I have a 130A alternator so it has the capacity.

The compare feature is there and there is an option to highlight cells in the tables that are changed. I’m not sure how the highlighting changes and carries over once a file is saved though. There are a few options for making altered cells visible though.

To clarify, if we load the new version and look at your test tune you posted earlier, we can see what was tweaked to increase charging voltage, correct?

Also, any chance we can get a 1.05 or other tune on vF so we can move beyond stock from a new baseline?

yep you can see what I did.

Can't post any "tuned" versions quite yet. Have some back end code to do on them.

@OVTune & @Markc1024 - If I use the zip file to tune the alternator, does 2.0 Final write over this? I also have a NorthStar AGM and do appreciate the extra effort on the voltage adjustment.

You will lose 2.0 final and be back on stock tune with more voltage to your alternator.

So if we have the registry key from last year for OVTune, can the same one be used for VF Tuner?
Do I have to even re-install the key?
