It's amazing how quickly I can get rid of things when I put them up on Craigslist as free. I had an old beat-up (but clean) futon that I didn't want to deal with trying to throw out in the spare room. Someone drove almost two hours to pick it up.

Cleaning out our house in old orchard beach when we bought it oh some 20 damn years ago now maybe 15. There was a bunch of old like CRT TVs. Put them out for free, nothing for a few days. Changed the sign to 10 bucks each around 7pm, left them out for the night, they were gone in the morning.

I used to be able to get rid of those through work. We had a recycler that didn't charge to take them. Fortunately we got rid of most of them then... it's expensive now.

I cycle my pallets through work. I use them for stacking fire wood. Once one is used for a season I’ll bring it to work and grab another.

In the throwaway society we live in, it's good to see when people try to freecycle items and extra special when you can put a smile on a child's face.

I've read where some people notice being more into working from home if they still prepare like they were going to the office. Whatever works best for the individual I suppose. I wore a Misfits shirt to my meeting last Monday, but to be fair that was my league meeting

I have a 24x24 garage, but it's honestly easier to work on the truck in the concrete driveway. The F-150 doesn't exactly have a lot of room in front or behind it in the garage. I usually only work there if it's cold and I want the heated space.

For the girlfriend's Mazda, lawn tractor, ATV, etc. it's perfect though.

With the COVID stuff I've found some incredibly random items that you simply cannot buy. One of these is swing sets. Gorilla Playsets is legit sold out of every single swingset they sell. I had planned on purchasing one this year prior to the virus and was just starting to do my research. I noticed on BJ's website a few of the ones on sale were sold out and didn't think much of it. A week later every single one was out of stock.

I've got a 24W x 26D. I'm 50/50 on whether I work inside or outside. If it's something that's going to run 3x as long as I think it would (read as every project) I like being in the garage so I can just shut the door and work on it the next day. I do find it's difficult to work in the bay closest to the house, but that's because I store stuff along that wall.

They probably shut down manufacturing and once inventory was gone...it's gone...

Right, and I'm sure anyone who was on the fence and has kids at home (like myself) jumped. I'm kicking myself I didn't.

Mine are 2.5 and 7 months, so they at least don't fully know what they're missing, but my sanity is running away, fast.

we got the brackets and A 4x6 and 4x4s for a simple a-frame double swing set for now. Built it 2 years ago and it’s holding up very well. My boys are 3.5 and 2 and still use it regularly; matter of fact I just bought the next age up swings that were on sale 2/$50.

Mine was a home made one as well...We were the 2nd family to have it...it was built in the 90's and we got int in 2007 and then just gave it away now. It was 3 A frames, a set of married 2x6's that were like 18 feet for the cross top and then using decking plates and carriage bolts to hold it all together. It was DAMN sturdy..

That's awesome! I stumbled on a red hot Amazon deal for ours. It has a little house, slide and 2 swings with the hanging bar in the middle. Whole thing only cost me $320 or 340. We've had it for I think 3 years now. It's not the most sturdy and I'm sure the wood will rot out inside of 5 years but it was hard to say no to at the time. Figure if it does rot out and my kids are still 'using' it, I can always build a simple A-frame for the swings and just pitch the rest of the kit.

@Bridge4 I spoke to our safety guy. We ordered our no-touch thermometers through corporate and we're still waiting for them. Some of our subs ordered them on Amazon and some have them, some are still waiting so very hit or miss.

Finally got my landcruiser back running after having mostly taken apart for the past few weeks. Only ended up doing the pass side valve cover gasket & spark plug tube seals. It was leaking and much in need of replacement. Such mechanic, many maintenance.
