I should find out tonight if I can get off on the 6th. If they schedule me anyway, I will see if I can get someone to cover me. :)

Yeah my quad is a small 250 Honda so I'm sure it'll fit, and with all the other stuff I haul the long bed just makes sense, besides that I intend to get one of those truck tents to go camping with, so the bigger room in the bed equates to bigger room in the tent.

TBH I've been researching and patiently waiting for over a year for a Tacoma... now the time has come to make the purchase.[IMG]

Anyone have a recommendations or warnings with the dealerships they used?

So far Kings is in the lead.

kings is the best dealers I have used so far. I have been all over the area, jake sweeney was full of jackasses, jeff wyler was a waste of time, Kings worked with me on trade in and matched the online quote I got

speaking of online quote... get one because it could be a lot cheaper. Mine ended up 1-2k below invoice.

Yeah thanks so far they seem to be the easiest to deal with without getting a lot of crap.

I travel quite a bit through the area for work and family and I was down in Clarksville, IN and stopped in at the old Greentree, now Jeff Wyler, place. The lady that I talked to first was a little green but when her manager came out to talk about price he had changed his mind on the APR and the price per month was way out of wack even using his 7+% rate.

I bought mine from Beechmont Toyota. We (my family) have bought about 5 Toyota's from the same guy so he pretty much knows not to haggle us. If you are interested I could give you his name and give him a call and let him know you ae coming out. But my best suggestion would be to know exactly what you are looking for (model/options) then to go online and find the best price for the truck you want (either ebay/autotrader) so know exactly what you want to pay. Go to 2 different dealerships and make then both fight for your business. When you go to the dealership make sure you tell them you have already talked to a different dealership. It will make them more willing to work with you on price. With it being almost the end of 2010 you could probably get a really good deal on a 2010 (if the still have one). I bought mine in Nov. 6th 2006. It was the last 06 they had on there lot. I to this day haven't heard or seen anyone else get the deal I did.

I used Joseph Toytoa of Cincinnati. Everyone was great. My family has been buying Toyotas there for years. If you are set to graduate college or have recently graduated, they have great student discounts. I bought the extended warranty for 8 years, powertrain and electronics, and received 1800 off, plus they gave me 1000 to put down, in addition to the money I was already putting down, and they took a few grand off of msrp. The finance department was great and so was my salesman. I also bought the xzilon protection, which I have already found to be good. It's easier to wipe off bird crap and tree sap :). If you would like their info, let me know. Good Luck!

I'm not sure what area you are coming from b/c directions down there are nearly impossible. We will probably meet at the Walmart in Alexandria KY sometime around 12ish on Nov. 6th. Then everyone follows me down and then you are welcome to stay the night as some people are camping.

Aaron, you are right. A sausage fest should be avoided whenever possible! Haha, well, my work still hasn't posted the schedule, but I am determined to make it. Plus, now that Mtn Dew White Out is available, I can bring that and the best original Mtn Dew. Any Code Red or Livewire fans?

I think I may re-sand and either go with flat black or dark gray?? Not feeling the glossy black much! What do you all think??

Yeah the gloss black makes 'em looks like nascar rims. Have you thought about the spray in bed liner in a can? It gives a cool textured look and can take some abuse without getting scratched up.

I'd go with the flat black myself, but its your truck and do what you think looks the best!
