Well we have been thrown a huge monkey wrench but are making the best of it. Back in December we decided to sell our house and everything non essential and hit the road for a year or 2. The virus had other plans. We now are crashing at my father's ranch and probably postponing everything until next year. In the the mean time, going to camp, wheel and camp until we can't no more. (impossible)

This was Sawmill this morning. Got in Friday and got home today. Had the place to ourselves.

Almost went that way today. Decided to do yard maintenance instead. Doesn't look like much snow.

That strikes me as an odd question. People spend however much time they want there. Ten minutes, 14 days, it's really up to you. Don't know if that answers your question.

Sorry for my silly questions. Im in genuine need of a little get away or else I'm going to go nuts. I did some reading and I thought I saw something about needing a permit. Idk... Help. May leave tonight or early early morning.

You'll want a fire permit. You can find that online. Plenty of places to camp. It's nice up there. If I were driving from San Jose, I'd want at least two nights.

You can just pick and area and roll around until you find a spot.
That’s my favorite way to find camping.
