All depends. My buddies live about 15 mins from MA Bell and I use to be about 35 mins from there so we were there all the time. My truck being the least built of the bunch. We could make it to the top where the NEA says we have to turn around and then make it back down to the bottom in about 40 mins if we didn't get out and mess around or really shoot the shit. Old Florida road took us about 3.5 hours to run with me being the one slowing the group down since I hadn't been there before and didn't know the lines

Trail report from my day. Rocker panel took a hit. Kicking myself for taking it too aggressive without sliders yet. They’re literally in the mail or on the shipping dock to be sent out. This annoys me. But the door still works. I’m going to call some body shops and see if they can get it to like 75% for a few hundred bucks. I don’t need it perfect and I’m putting sliders on too. At least the damage was (a) my fault and (b) minor and (c) had fun doing it. Don’t actually know when this hit happened.

@MurderedTacoV2 i was able to lift the front end when I got home that squeak was from the front right. I’m still on the Toyota maintenance warranty thing though so I’m going to have them rotate my tires and see if they can figure it out. The squeaking stopped so it’s not like wake up the neighbors at 2am loud anymore but it’s still oscillating when I’m driving.

bashed the jack point sometime in there. Don’t know when that might not have been today. I gotta get some skids and sliders asap I guess. I didn’t even do the rock crawl today :(

that last mud hole on the left hand before we broke off probably did at least some of that. It looks really gnarly from behind you, I ended up going around.

Those trails were wicked fun today. I’ve been looking for a place like that. Just wide enough, just technical enough, and some stuff to work up to as the truck gets more built out. My slow and steady approach seemed to pay off, I can’t find any damage underneath. Would definitely head up there again.

....that might have actually been it. That definitely made some noises I didn’t expect or want to hear. Fair enough. We hit some pretty haggard sections after you guys left though.

let me know if y’all want to do a calm/double tracks run and I can head that up too. I’m not going back out until the sliders are installed probably a couple weeks. Once your girlfriend (sorry didn’t catch her name this whole virus thing has me all which ways) gets her Jeep running we can get an old man run planned. :D

sadly I didn’t take any out there. :( thought of it a few times but never did. I was ready to take some if @aStrauss ended up taking the rock crawl at the sand pit. I thought he was going to :D

my dash cam might not have rolled over the oldest videos yet I could check :p

I watched the bed pitch back as the cab pitched forward, I think that was a harder hit than you probably realized hahah

And yeah I’d be in for whatever. I actually liked the degree of difficulty on the trail today, much less than that and I tend to get a little bored. Once I figured out the issue I was having using 4lo it was a LOT less stressful, just let the truck do most of the work. Melissa definitely wants to head up with the Jeep some time, but she would have been way nervous trying to keep up.

    No videos, but:

I had a couple of @MurderedTacoV2 int he first mud hole, not sure how the admins feel about media that doesn’t quite align with “tread lightly” hahah

Adam goes a little fast :D I was in 4hi for 99% of today. I went into lo so I could lock for that trail exit when I went left but don’t think I really needed it. Well, when Melissa (sorry Melissa!) gets going we can go again on a slow pace. Where we went left at the end at the fork if you go right it brings you up past a lake, nice view. Bug spray needed.

no need to push it to keep up. Especially once comms are set up too I just wait until I saw the blue taco peeking though the woods every so often :p
