    If you trade it in they take it off the price of the truck your buying, if you’re selling it privately put down as much as you feel comfortable to lower the payment. I’d keep some stashed back for any pesky issues that may arise.

    Smart idea, another thing to consider do you really want a truck payment this is a critical time in your life for future progress. I wouldn’t want to have any debt to tie me down if I was to get an opportunity in a couple years trying to scrape moving money.
    Easier said than done when you’ve got truck lust we’ve all been there.
