    As a new customer, does that mean I cannot yet "tune" my Tacoma? I paid for the Tacoma 3.5L vF Tune Pack.

    I am not upset, just wanting to be sure. Is there a timeline for such in the event that I am unable to "tune" yet?

    You are 100% free to tune from scratch using the stock files that shipped with vfTuner (open the one that has your truck's ECU ID).

    If you plan to modify and run any of the actual OVtune versions (1.05, 2.0, etc), I think you'll have to wait until those versions are released for vfTuner, specifically.

    Make sense?

    @GPatriot....Thanks for the info. It was certainly helpful. I was able to get vF Tuner up and running. Now I just need to learn how to use it.

    Yeah 110% agree - Actually - i request some sort of easy guide for only upping the alternator voltage for those with AGM batteries. It would save a hassle for a lot of us :)
    I'm happy to spend my money as long as i have some help

    so this weekend i found the first thing i want to attempt to tune once i'm able to unlock and download previous tunes for my ecu. I noticed while towing in 5th gear on my 91 2.0 beta 4.88 tune that torque converter unlocks at speeds < 60mph, at 61mph and up with gearlock enabled it wont unlock the TC. I want to try and lower this down to about 55mph.

    @OVTune I’ve tried plugging my Tactrix cable in to identify my ECU, but every time I plug in the Tactrix, it doesn’t show up in flash manager, and when I click on Identify, flash manager simply exits out without identifying my ECU.

    I have a 04b13 MT (I believe) - would that be why it’s not identifying properly? Thanks for the help
