So I just used two heat shrink butt connectors with 12ga wire just before the weather guard to connect the wires. There is still a buzzing noise even with the truck running. The last thing I was thinking:
1.)it could be is that I am using terminal connectors rated to 14ga (to fit in the SPOD spot)?
2.) will the buzzing negatively affect the output/performance? Because i wouldn’t be able to hear it with the truck on.

    EDIT-
Bright lights, dull customer. My SPoD was at 98% power on the dimmer setting, causing the buzzing. 100% seting no buzzing at all.
Excuse me while I find a hammer to beat myself about the head and face.

Watching a race truck video, the driver / owner swore the green light bar on his bumper was like having night vision in the dust - I searched 'green' in this thread but it only seemed to cover wiring. A review on the S2 covers online said they cut the output quite a bit. Any feedback on amber vs green and white vs green for output? I already have amber squadron sports in my skid and an s8 20" for my bumper. AFIAK BD only makes S2 covers in green which I have a pair of in case I decide to go that route.

There should be an option on the shipping method for store pickup. Feel free to PM me and I can get the order setup for you too. :)

No worries at all, it happens! :) Noise won't damage the light's output or performance, so you should be safe to dim it.

From our testing and experience, we prefer amber. Amber tends to identify terrain and shadows better compared to green. We've recognized that amber is closer to natural light and since our brains are already programmed to see things in that wave length, it would be harder to adapt to green's new color spectrum. It's also closer in wavelength to blue, purple, and black, which are all colors that are less defined and hard to see. Amber is used by many TT and Baja Racers and what's recommended by BD for driving in poor conditions (dust, snow, rain, and fog).

We are pleased to announce that all donations will be sent to Operation HOPE-North County Shelter right here in North County San Diego.

Operation HOPE's mission focuses on providing a safe and supportive environment for families with children and single women who are experiencing homelessness. They provide shelter, food, education, and structured support to help those in need to get back on their feet. COVID-19 has greatly compounded the stress on existing and new members of this community.

This is a challenging time for the shelter and funding is critical to maintain continued services and a safe environment amidst this global pandemic. Operation HOPE Shelter is in greater need of support now more than ever and these donations will go a long way to support families and children in our community. Learn more about Operation HOPE-North County at their website - https://www.operationhopeshelter.org/

I’ve tried searching with no luck; but I’ve yet to see anyone confirm which ditch light brackets work best with a snorkel, XL lights, on a third gen.

Below are CBI brackets, and they not only hit the cowl but the lights are rubbing pretty badly into the snorkel body. Looking for some brackets that don’t need trimming of the cowl and will not interfere with the snorkel. :help:

NEW PRODUCT ALERT: Universal S1 Moto Kits

We are proud to announce the most versatile motorcycle lighting option we have ever conceived. With our recent launch of the S1, we were ready to take advantage of the versatile, light weight and powerful S1 performance. This kit will mount to nearly any motorcycle with our fork bracket clamp design. The fork bracket along with the S1 standard bracket can be mounted in various configurations to accommodate your setup. Using an EPDM rubber material in between the mounting surfaces, worries about scratching the bike are nonexistent. Wiring is a breeze with only a handlebar switch, battery leads, splitter, and a headlight plug. For non-electric start EFI bikes, we will offer this kit without a harness and a bike-specific plug and play harness will need to be purchased separately.

    50-7096 | S1, Moto Kit, Spot

    50-7097 | S1, Moto Kit, Driving/Combo

These two options are available for all battery-powered dirt bikes which includes our 64-1049 Universal Wiring Harness & Switch which leads connect directly to the battery terminals.

    50-7086 | S1, Moto Kit, Spot w/EFI Kickstart

    50-7087 | S1, Moto Kit, Driving/Combo w/EFI Kickstart

    I did...
Could be the chemicals used to wash and wax the truck... Could be a bad batch of anodization...

One thing I learned the hard way. DO NOT use Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic wax on Fox body shocks. That combo will corrode the shock body.

This may have been part of a bad batch of anodizing, but this is covered by the limited lifetime warranty. PM inbound.
