I have a double cab, any clever ideas to sleep inside the cabin? I’m just under 6’. I removed the rear seat cushion hoping the front seat would recline flat but the seat itself only reclines so much.

My bed is full of gear and I don’t want the hassle of pitching a tent on the ground and don’t want a RTT.

I slept in my car once.

    Once.

Swore I'd never do it again.

Get a DCLB and sleep on top of your gear?

Completely remove the passenger seat and back seat? I have an access cab so I don't know how much room that would give you

I slept in the backseat my corolla once trying to pick my buddies up fron the drunk tank, then again after driving from San Diego to Dallas on my way to Mississippi. It's not the best sleep ever....I recommend a hotel or if in the wilderness a normal tent. Tents really arent that hard ti set up...4 stakes and 2 poles, a mat and sleeping bag. WAY MORE COMFORTABLE than the front or back seat.

Whiskey. Drink plenty of whiskey, recline the passenger seat as much as it can and grab a pillow and blanket. Good for 1-2 nights before your neck and back start hurting

I have had to do this at rest stops on long, cross country road trips. I always thought I would be able to lay across the back seat but nope, not even remotely comfortable or enough room. Most comfortable position I have found so far is to recline the drivers seat as far back as possible and try to catch some shuteye that way. Not really comfortable but so far, I have not found any other way that's any more comfortable.
