I would think that not loosing any nitrogen pressure would be the trickiest part. Did you lose none when you did this?

Also see that your compression and rebound adjustors are way up high, on top of the resi now. Are they an easy reach?

 

Ah, I removed the OEM washer fluid reservoir a long time ago and replaced it with one that sits in the engine bay. For the passenger side shock reservoir mount I removed the thin plastic shell that would have protected that washer fluid reservoir and bolted the Fox mount to the metal wall that on the engine bay side. On the other side I mounted it on the metal wall that faces the grill.

 

Here are two "better" pics. 1st of where it is and showing the hole the neck of the old washer fluid reservoir went through and the 2nd holding the plastic piece I removed.

 

I found several places online that said you could loosen that nut up to one full turn before a leak might occur. No oil or gas leaks. I loosened it up just enough so that the reservoir could rotate (maybe 25% of a full turn) and then kept tightening it as I turned the reservoir. I can easily get my fingers around the adjusters on both shocks.

 

Now that's really clever!

 

I have already started down the @Blackdawg path of washer fluid PVC pipe.
The Nalgene idea would have been less expensive than the PVC pipe path.

 

I need to clean my shit up bad. Just added an ARB compressor and Solar so I want to refresh everything. The motivation is still missing though...

 

I have a Metro that gets 45+ MPG when I need it

 

But the PVC hides so much better.

Dude, it’s hard to get started. Once I make the plate the wiring will only take a few hours. So I think I’m going to just try and make the mount this week. Might help with actually doing the wiring

 

The 500 dollar CL cap continues to grow in cost: New crispy clean cap latch. The old one looked like it had looked into the arc of the covenant.

 

Turns out my company is actually sort of opening their office and I'll be working from there for the week of the 18th. Operation finish my gear break in, change the diff fluid, and finish the electrical nonsense is now in effect.

 

Good stuff! Gotta get ready for wheeling season
