    Still thinking about it.
Almost enough dry ground here in Alaska for my boy and I to get our dirt bikes out... He resto/modded my XR over the winter so I'm looking forward to it!

It was kind of chilly today, but I went out anyway and did some practices in a big open parking lot. I honed my skills on swerving, emergency braking and countersteering.

To take the time to go practice shows HUGE maturity and humbleness when it comes to motorcycles.... this is going to make you SO much of a better rider. I applaud you sir! Practicing the emergency braking is huge and could save your life. You will be surprised at how much more grip you have if you use a quick progressive motion to get into the front brake (which will allow the suspension to settle and weight to transfer) vs just grabbing a shit pot full of front brake.

This is so true. Grabbing a handful and you can guarantee that front tire is tucking. Ive lifted the rear wheel in rain on slicks coming down the straight. Doesnt seem like it could happen thinking about it though.

Didnt ride yesterday, raining today. First week back into the work office so maybe tomorrow

Just was taking this on-ramp fast-ish (I’ve been building up practicing on it to really get some good lean angle at higher speed (30-40) just for fun. I just got really low and scraped peg and was like oh shit what was that! And then realized I just scraped peg and was like sweet and kept riding haha.
