Had time to install truss and alpha ex. with the retrax bed cover. Alpha is waiting on the hole punch.
I really like the full height because there is no obstructed view in the rear view and kayak, wood, whatever on top!
Here are a couple quick install pics of army green.

 

I didnt bother punching out light tabs yet. But will add lights, grab handle, extra bed lights, roller bar, maxtrax, roto, etc
Lesson learned was removing the orange end caps from the center load bar on the truss if installing the alpha ex!

I was looking over the alphaex description again and noticed it says to use hardware that came with the rails on my snugtop. After reading that I realized I never got anything extra with my snugtop for mounting. Any chance someone could point me in the right direction?

 

You need to verify if you have thule or yakima tracks on your snugtop. Then we have the thule or yakima slide nut.

 

I’ll need the Yakima slide nuts can I just email support and pay the difference? It’s supposed to ship this week
