    there are many pages on this subject. around 10 actually

    if replacing your connector and resistor don't fix your problem, I would say it's the blower motor itself.

    I have done this 4 times already. It’s not a technically complex job but it’s physically painful. The supposed new design connectors that are claimed to fix the issue are bullshit. They don’t fix it, it will still reoccur. I would put plug in connectors on the wires so when it’s time to do it again you don’t have to mess with the harness side of things.

    Yeah, I have gone through a lot of them as stated but didn't know if there was new fixes or ideas or maybe I was doing something wrong.
    Thanks for the input, I'm hoping if I can figure out how to change the connector it'll fix the issue....

    I’m kinda late to the party, but here goes. Your initial problems were definitely the resistor and resistor connector. However, now you have an additional problem. On a 100% working truck, you can take the resistor out and throw it in the wood chipper and the blower will still blow on high. The other 2 failure points in this system are the connector on the blower motor and the connector on the fan speed switch. Usually the motor connector will cause the fan to not blow at all. When the fan speed switch connector fails it usually loses just 1 speed. It’s highly unlikely that it blew the fuse, but check it anyway. It’s a 50A fuse in the under hood fuse box called labeled heater.

    If the fuse is good, it’s absolutely 100% sure that you have an additional problem and the most likely thing is the blower motor connector. Pull it off and see if it’s burnt. Plugging it back on will probably make it work on high for a short time.
