This is a little loop thingy that takes you from PCH to the end of the 55 freeway, although this part isn’t really the freeway. But the loop is fun. First time I took it I took it in like 2nd gear going maybe 20 haha. I’ve finally gained more confidence and took it much faster this time. It was fun. Not a lot of good “twisty” spots close by so this serves as my practice. Trying to learn how much I can lean before I do scrape peg. Getting more and more confident in the saddle. Loving this bike more and more!

The entrance to the freeway by my office has a tight loop and is banked in the wrong direction. A slight lean will have you grinding pegs and you can still low-side while remaining almost vertical. It’s a stupid turn but you get used to it. Even in the truck with no sway bar I take it a little faster than most people.

First street bike. But it’s a whole different world than a dirtbike off-road. I’m sure 30 is still slow for others haha. But for a big turn like that it’s fast for me haha. I think the sign says 15 or 20 for it. I’ll gradually pick my speed up around it as time goes on but I’m not there yet. Not ready to push my limits that much. I struggle with right turns for some reason more than left.

We should. I might actually have to go to Costa Mesa to meet another member so it’s a big possibility. Damn near lost my phone this weekend when my ram mount spit out two of the rubber fingers on the x-mount. My fault for not using all 4 corners of the retention bikini. I want a better mount but don’t want to pay for the quad lock.

It’s a good thing I’m left handed. That way I can keep my right hand on the throttle.

From a dead stop making a right turn is my nightmare. I don’t know why. I’ve always struggled with it. Even on dirtbikes. Left turns no problem. I’ll never try and make a jump from a red light on a right turn. I always swing wide and just am not comfortable with it. I think it’s cuz I’m right hand dominant it has something to do with it

Oh, thats no problem for me. But moving right turns are something that i need to work on.

I think left turns are a thing because the throttle is high. Not sure about right turns

Thank you for the support and feedback, it is very much appreciated!

I also get anxious while taking right-hand turns, but interestingly, I am ambidextrous. I think part of it is that while stopped, I have my left foot down to stabilize the bike. So I suppose taking a right turn makes me nervous because that foot is always on the peg. Not sure, to be honest.

Went to move my bike, and my back tire is flat. I have a wheel/tire warranty so it should be free. Any tire suggestions @GHOST SHIP ? I can choose any tire as long as its the stock size. Pirelli or Michelin or something else expensive?

Might as well see if the dealership can pick the bike up from my house, and do the 1k service

I do t really have any input. I went stock when I replaced mine (Michelin). I know some models have/had Dunlop’s so those are good stock options.
