Flagpole is. Or so I heard. Dispersed camping should be. Not pay sites

Thanks for providing that info, I have no real baseline. After some tinkering I found some additional settings would have had a more accurate measure. My truck is pretty weighed down with alot of gear though so I'm not so surprised!

Did a little dremel work, cutting and glueing today. Put in new door armrest covers with some extra padding. Those old ones were nasty. We'll see if the 3M 90 holds up this summer.

Changed the cabin filter today. Dad had written the mileage on the filter when he changed it last. I was about 50k overdue. It sure needed it.

I installed some Redline Tuning hood struts today. Couldn't be happier with them! They provide great lift and a smooth action all the way up. Install was a breeze, just remember to measure twice!

That turned out great. Makes me want to build my own bumper as well.

Thanks, it's a lot of fun but a lot of work too. If you have the means, go for it though! I learned a lot as an amateur fabricator. If I had to estimate how much time I have in this, maybe 20-24 hours? I've been chipping away at it over the course of a couple of weeks.

Did the same thing last year. I changed to cloth so it stays cool in the summer.

I've built a few Jeep bumpers in the past but they were more "simple" than what I would want for the back end of my truck, especially if you go high clearance. I hadn't even touched my welder in probably 7 or so years until a few weeks ago and have done a few small things with it. Did remind me how much I enjoy it though.

Compared to HC you can buy elsewhere this one is pretty simple. A 3"x4" main tube and some plate wings coming off of it. The mounting points are just some 4" bar stock that I drilled some holes in. I don't know if you've seen my other posts but here's some quotes to give you an idea of it.

It is a nice piece of work but i dont think you could justify spending that kind of money. Unless i looked at the wrong one.
