I was the kid who played Oregon Trail and let the Typhoid Fever and Cholera run through my team untreated and hope for the best, so maybe my thoughts on things are deep seated.

OK the TP thing annoys me. There was no TP issues. Then, Chinese emigrants in Australia started buying it to send home - either to family or to sell, but I think mostly for family. So there was a minor shortage in Australia. Then all the Australians started to think there was an actual real deal shortage, and started fights over it. That hit the news, that there was a fight over a shortage of TP. Which that hit the news which pushed everyone in the US to think there was a shortage so they made a run on the stores and actually created a shortage.

    I blame the Australians :p

Side note - buy filled for GRPN today. RCL might be a while :(

So we can blame the TP shortage on China, just like the virus? And these killer hornets making their way over here? Unbelieveable.

I dont know the specifics as I haven't lost any income due to this luckily. I am sure they are deferring it or spreading it over the remainder of the lease.

Viruses happen, blame world travelers. TP, stupid people, stupid Americans. If reports were this virus made you crap 12 times a day, that would be one thing. Hornets, yea, that’s Asia

Stupid Australians - they're just British Texans. Those hornets are jacked up that's for sure. One thing that keeps me thinking New England isn't half bad - the winter kills that sort of crap.

Viruses happen, there's no doubt about that, and unavoidable in some cases. But they happen a hell of a lot more with the disgusting, unsanitary things that occur in China. I don't think anyone can deny that at this point, bat soup anyone?

Yes, it would be more effective if it just quickly killed the consumer. And I heard it was snake noodles, and the snake ate the bat. I guess we will never know

Thank you! This is the same thing I’ve been saying during all this shit. Tell me of one caused from the US or Canada?
    Ebola, H1N1, Spanish Flu, Sars-Cov1, Sars-Cov2, Mers...
Am I wrong about the whole US and Canada thing? I very well may be so feel free to disprove me

I think it was a lab safety failure. That wet market they reference doesn't serve bats, but the nearby lab works with bat viruses.

I stand corrected. Thank you. People in the US are discussing too. The service taught me that. I once knew a guy that ate raw bacon.

I think Spanish Flu is still a mystery, but the best hypothesis being that it started in Kansas. And it was called Spanish Flu because while other countries were not reporting the true amount of cases due to the war, Spain was, so it appeared to be worse there. Something like that.
