I need to check out your alucab and pick your brain man. Im in the market but Seems it has some of the same issues on normal shells.

 

I dunno... my first Leer didn't leak anywhere near as badly and it was missing a window. My second Leer needed some sealing on things, but I haven't had to touch it for a few years now. I should update my other reviews. I've found more leaks. It's now leaking from behind the hinge on the back window, through hardware. It also appears to be leaking through the mounts for the gas struts on the back hatch and possibly the paddle latch back there. There's so much water that it's hard to tell for sure, but it's collecting inside the rear hatch in a way that it comes pouring out when you open the hatch about halfway, only on one side of the hatch. *sigh* I'm going to have to climb through one of the side windows after our next good rain and take a look from the inside to see if I can get more insight to where it's coming from.

 

Does in one in the Kent/Des Moines area have anything that can trim a maxtrax mounting pin/bolt? I brought it to a shop next door but they were too afraid of messing it up.

 

For people asking for forest service roads to run outside of Seattle I decided to compile a list of my favorites
1: Garcia (47.4219900, -121.6161280)
fun trail some mild rock crawling and a fun river cross leads up a mountain and has a good view lots of trails to explore 45 minutes away from Seattle
2. Tonga ridge (47.6730798, -121.2939062) 1 hour 30 minutes away from seattle
lots of fun trails not as technical as Garcia but still plenty to be explored probably still pretty snowy near the top but the bottom has a lot to offer
3: Stampede pass 1 hour 10 minutes away from Seattle (47.2854181, -121.3209835)
Probably has the most terrain out of all of these and you can find something as easy or as difficult as you want and these roads seem to less forever great views if you go on a clear day

4: Mountain loop high way 1 hour and 30 minutes (48.0857489, -121.7603427)
Too many trails to choose just one I know Mt. Pilchuck has a bunch of side trails that are super fun but if you follow the highway further in there will be more technical tails

U getting leaks from your Alucab or Leer. Either way it would suck having to spend so much money and u would have to deal with that issue. Has the warranty expired? So to here bro.

I wish ProCharger would hurry up and release the Tacoma variant. Well and that we would see some actual, real world numbers. Even if it was from the 4runner guys

 

I was in the general area last weekend and can confirm that there will def still be snow/slush up at that elevation. There are still patches of snow/slush in the french cabin creek area.

 

I was just emailing with them and they are still testing on Taco’s. They offered me 1/2 price on a kit if I want to ship my truck to them for testing.

 

Glad we could get you a few more smiles per mile

 

Thats pretty much what I was told back in Novemberish when I first heard they were doing one for the 1GR-FE. But thats how most car stuff seems to go...slow to develop
