Wait, that's a joke right? Like a ha ha lets mess with them joke? I didn't receive a key - Order #6190 - original flash kit order was Order #3853.

 

No it is not a joke.
If your order does not match to any previous order info we can't verify it so it needs manual verification.

 

How is that even possible? The email addresses are the same, the order confirmations came to the same email (and the same email as the decals I also purchased to support OVTune). Please let me know what I need to do to get this key today.

 

I know, not related, but what is the ETA of a registry file? A request was sent last week.

I am not sure if it is created in-house or by a third party.

Thanks for letting us know when you were all done so we would know if there was an issue... (got mine at 10:30am, must have been close to the bottom of the barrel)

 

@OVTune I assume I will be falling this category as I have kinda muddied the waters with my VFTuner purchase. As dongle guy I originally purchased the $79.00 option Order #6214 and retained my dongle. I sent a zendesk request on what to do with my dongle #14932 and you sent a master key and I was unable to register (email not recognized) . I was able to open vftune and retrieve my Id and sent that to zendesk #15094 with a reply that I should be able to register now and I still get the same message (email not recognized). Additionally I sent my dongle back and UPS said it was out for delivery on Saturday. Obviously I don't want to send another zendesk and muddy the waters any further so... standing by for whatever...? lol

outside dev works on this, we will get them as soon as we get them

 

Some people use aliases for all their accounts and it is easy to forget to send/reply as the alias.
I use a unique email and password for 98% of my accounts.

examples of aliases.
primary email account.
youraccount@gmail.com

Aliases.
youraccount+ovtune@gmail.com
youraccount+tacomaworld@gmail.com
youraccount+whateveryouwant@gmail.com

All the aliases will point to your main account., and to reply as an alias takes a little extra work, or it will send as your primary.

 

That was not the case with my orders. They all came from the same email which was also the email that OVTune listed as the “master email” in the VF key email. I truly can’t imagine what the issue was and there are some theories floating around PM and text but at this point I have the key and hopefully can just wait for 2.0 final to be released for editing.

Odyssey recommends 14.7v charging for my 2x 35-pc1400's. Do you think that's going to be too high on the stock alternator?

 

What size alternator to you have? I'm in the same boat ...I have 2 x yellow tops and they are 48Amp hr at c20. alternator is 130 amp so I think it'll be fine. I'll likely ease my way in to it with uping voltage but only way I know to see if things are not good is if the battery temp gets to high.
