All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
There is a time and place. This ain’t either of them!

Maybe I should say these people need to be more responsible and held accountable for their actions

I did not take your statement towards this group.
I was merely venting as in “there is a time and place” to act like a bunch of asshats.
But the middle of a river is not one of them.

These are the same groups of people we end up cleaning up the campsites after they are gone.

Completely agree. The jeep bro/redneck crowd really ruins it for the people that are out there to enjoy it.

Also heard a Jeep rolled up there this weekend and someone had to get airlifted out. I didn’t get anymore details or the condition of the person. Just be heads up out there!

As a former Jeep owner, most Jeep owners are dumbasses.

Yesterday was four months for my truck, and 2500 miles. This thing is going to last me forever.

My wife bought a jeep recently, but I will defend her for being smarted than those morons. She has yet to take it off-road because it is too "pretty".

I have two jeep buddies and they all refuse to ride with jeep clubs. Always joining me and another toyota!

Jeeps aside, I would hate having a trail ride with that many people, but that is just me.

Agreed, hitting trails with anything over 6 (and that's kinda pushing it) is a PITA

It is only a PITA when the lead truck goes for a swim.

Random question: I need to upgrade my wife's stereo system in her 2013 Toyota Highlander. I'd like to buy one off of Crutchfield, but where do I get this installed? Any reputable place you guys recommend?

You can do it right in the driveway. They send you instructions on doing it yourself. But in reality, any stereo shop can do it.

Depending on how much of an upgrade you are doing, Crutchfield usually includes all the necessary adapters and instructions that make most installs pretty easy to do on your own, and you can call them to walk you through troubleshooting any issues you have. I had not messed with stereos/speakers at all in 10-15 years, and had no issues putting in new speakers all around, a mini amp and a small underseat sub with their help.

That’s the reason to buy from crutchfield. The instructions are easy to follow.

Stereo installs these days are cake with premade harnesses. The hardest thing you'll have to do is get the dash trim out of the way.

Yup, and crutchfield makes it even easier, wouldn't even think about ordering from anywhere else. They usually throw in free dash trim removal kits as well.
