Looks like it came out good! Thanks for the info...I'll keep this info saved for when I finally dish out the money to have this done.

On a side note, went up and camped at Strawberry this weekend and did some fishing! Was nice to get out.

Should of seen all the people that were getting stuck in the snow up the trails...for some reason minivans think they can drive through a few feet of snow?

Anyone know of someone who does mobile welding in the SLC area or someone that will let me do some prep work in their driveway and then do some welding? I have a set of Marlin crawler LCA gussets I want to get welded on.

I'm swapping LCAs so I'd like to have these welded at the same time but don't want to pay a shop to unbolt some parts.

Also, what about some good shops to do alignments that are familiar with lifted Toyotas? I remember hearing State Automotive in Midvale was good...

Anyone have an account on trailsoffroad.com? Are they legit, or am I going to get spammed if I set up an account?

Yeah im not too convinced on that, I was looking through it and it looks a little sketch. I just downloaded Gaia GPS (the free version to try out) and I've been messing around with it for a bit and its pretty awesome. gives you topo maps, has POI's and you can make your own trip based off of your activity. you're also able to use the app offline while following a route.

Today I was looking up rock chip repair places for my son who got a chip on his brand new Civic. I'm not a fan of Technaglass but do like Safelite and Glass America. All the windshields I've had done on my Acura and 4Runner by Technaglass are seriously waving. It's like they joined 10 flat panels around the curvature of the window. I don't know that Technaglass or anyone else is THAT much different in injecting resin into chips so I went to their website to see cost. I see now the Technaglass and Safelite are going to merge. Does anyone know who the parent company is? I sure hope Safelite runs the quality control of the glass. Technaglass is fine with the installation but the glass is garbage.

Safelite is the acquiring company. Technaglass (and others) got sold to them.

Yes, it has trail information. When I attempt to look at trail info, it quickly asks me to log in. This sight comes up a lot when I Google trail names.

I don't think it's an app but i haven't looked in the app store. It does have GPX files you can download, or at least it says it does. I've not been able to look around much without logging in. I will look into Gaia GPS though, I'm looking for a trail app.

I have come across the OnX Offroad app. It looks cool. I think it's like $25 or $30 to purchase. Have you used the trail/offroad app?

    not enough.
Are you asking what "pay wall" means? or what has been "pay walled"? if the former, it means you hit a wall where you have to pay to get past...aka...it's become a paid service. if the latter, then idk. i don't use that service. lol

I'm not sure what I'm asking. I've not heard the expression. I assume it's become a "pay to play" site?

Yep. I could get the files just by making a free membership, but now, I have to upgrade to the paid membership to get what I originally did for free.
