slipper clutch makes it much easier.
CRF had one and it was nice.
DRZ never had it so I just banged down gears, dumped the clutch and it would slide the wrong way and I'd catch it on the way back to ride it through the turn.

easier to do it with the knobbies. Less traction makes it way easier because you can break it loose at a slower speed. If you have a flat track anywhere near you, flat track on knobbies is the best way to get a feel for it.

Sure, as long as the outside of the turn isn't a guardrail or a cliff
Stay on the throttle and lowside before chopping it and highsiding. Your body will thank you.

Steamy ass day here in SE Tejas, the kind that makes ya sweat in places you didn’t know you could! But f*ck it! Took the girl out for a spin anyway, broke 1000 miles! Having a blast! As I get more comfortable and am more relaxed, she handles like a champ. Just floats around. Great times! Get out and ride y’all!

Right turn from a stop is where I ate shit. About a week into having the bike. She's got a nickel sized dent in the tank and some road rash on the brake lever. After that I drove my ass to the parking lot to practice turns from a stop! Can't ever stop learning.

Totally worth it, cleans up the grom so much! I do wish I would have went with the rear rack though.

How do you like the two brothers exhaust? That one is on my list of possible exhausts in the future.

@amRRussel what part of the country are you in? Looks like the Smokey mountains in your profile picture. We are thinking about moving to Charlotte, NC.

I didn’t notice any power gain. Wasn’t really expecting it to do much in that department though. It sounded awesome though. Like a little thumper. Shaves something like 8 pounds off the bike too. In all honesty, I should have just rode the bike stock before spending money on mods, to find out if Grom life was for me. It wasn’t. That picture was from my ad to sell it. The pipe itself, it looked great. The build quality was top shelf. Easy to install, came with a spring puller. And as I mentioned, the exhaust note was throaty, deep, just great.

Yeah, understand about everything you just said. I think I am going to keep using the stock exhaust for a long time maybe for the life of the grom. It’s nice not calling attention to yourself redlining it around town. Plus $400 is a lot to spend on a tiny bike for no gain other than looks and sound.

$210 for the zoom exhaust. I have read good reviews on that one and on the aodonly for $100.
