How's come you didn't follow the radius curve of the tail light right here?

Like, curve your fender wing around to tuck under the tail light.

I'm not entirely sure I'm following what you're asking. I think I do, but I'm trying to visualize it and I'm failing. The answer is probably because it would've been more work than it's worth.

Yea, I think it would have added a lot more math than is necessary to use a curve

    upload_2020-5-5_8-22-15.jpg

Maybe a simple angle would have eliminated some math but still a little more work than is needed

    upload_2020-5-5_8-24-45.jpg

I'm still a fan of the bumper hoops like you use to have so I would have made the top plate larger to accommodate some sort of hoop.

Exactly what I meant, Rob. Thank you. Also, I fixed that last bit for you.

Redid my lower shock mounts. I got an archive garage flip kit with his bumpstops and wanted to redo my lowers to gain some uptravel back. I broke my leaf pack down to the main leaf so I could articulate the axle in the garage. I learned that my limit straps mount hit each other so I’ll have to redo those again. I’m just going to cut off the lower mounts and move them over a little bit so they’re not directly in-line anymore.

Holy negative arch Batman. That’s Dakar’s for you.

Hmmm, now what does all this do? Teach me something please. It enables the tire to go higher without limiting the downward travel?

It is very difficult to explain without pictures. Tomorrow while I’m “working” I’ll use my paint skills to see if I can explain it.

Cool, thanks. :fistbump: You know I like learning things about all this.

Hey, speaking of which, those springs Nick has. Would they be something I could use later on?
