Minus his politics, I'm a big fan of the Kennedy speach,"ask not what can your country do for you, but what you can do for your country." I think that is what's separating socialist and communist countries from America is that our poor and infranchised are cared for by volunteerism far more than any other country dumping tax monies to solve the range problem.

I had to correct my slide-to-text, but I'm also calling it quits here. I'm heading into the political realm.

 

I was brought up to be respectful, work hard, help others where I can. Those values have been instilled in me from a young age. So many people seem to think they are entitled to things and don’t have to work for them. I was brought up with the values my grandpa was and he worked from the age of like 9-10 years old.

 

Same here. I was also taught the importance of volunteerism and supporting those less fortunate and the dangers of increased government power.

 

I’m one of those people who could never be super rich. The more money I have the more I want to make those around me feel better. As big an a-hole as I can sometimes be I do like to see people happy.

 

I am a huge a-hole. I also feel great when I help people, no strings attached. I'm also poor (monetarily) af.

 

I prefer to treat this as a first date, meeting the inlaws for the first time, or being at work.

Subjects like politics and religion should stay verboten for everyone's sake.

 

I keep it verboten with my immediate family. I'm a conservative with my father (sort of), and my sister, brother, step sisters, step brothers, mother and step father are all commie liberals.

 

@wilcam47 i may be coming to Phoenix next weekend 14-17th. My friend says stuff is supposed to stRt opening back up out there

 

I avoid politics as much as possible. I just smile when people get going.

I Prefer to generally shoot the shit and have a good time. I don’t know why but I really want to be at a cabin on the lake with some good people right now.

 

I’m hoping to come up to torch lake this summer and stay at my uncles lake cabin. Sounds like a dream

 

Sounds like a damn good time.
