Still waiting for my RCL to get high enough to sell. I don't want a profit just not a loss then I'm out of cruise lines I'm not selling off, I'm holding it all.

I do, it has been consistent with a high dividend, and before this crash it was up quite a bit. It's only down 6% now, so performing well (I have held it for about 2 years). Also, no K-1 or anything like that, so it's just like anything else for taxes.

 

If NCLH gets close to $6 I may throw a grand at it and sit on it just to see what happens. Regardless of the bad news.

Well, the reason I say that is because I see that they are raising money. Really, I was just betting on next year.

 

They warned of possible bankruptcy today. That could just be restructuring and not necessarily out of business, but still not a good situation.

 

If they do file for bankruptcy their share price will likely see six dollars, but otherwise I’m not sure it will happen. If their share price does see six dollars and I buy it, then basically I’m just betting that within the next year or year and a half it will be somewhere above six dollars. Maybe $10? Either way there is money to be made. I’m guessing it will go something like general electric when they filed. Sell off followed by a bounce. There is not a lot of percentage rise when we are talking about three dollars and Boeing, but that’s a huge percentage rise when talking about a $6 stock

 

It is a big bet you're making, but going from $6 to $10 is a 67% increase. That's insane, and likely to happen eventually.

 

I bought in at $9, ive made $300 as of now, I’m abandoning ship. It’ll be a while before they recover anyways

You guys should check out Pfizer (PFE). It is yielding 4% right now, and appears to be leading the coronavirus vaccine race. I’ve owned it for a while but this could be huge if they pull it off!

 

Don’t do that to me

 

The well covered 4% yield takes some of the risk out of it (you can just hang onto it and sell it flat while collecting 4% along the way). If they get this vaccine approved though, the upside would be substantial. Good luck!

 

Keep reading. If your risk adverse at all options are not going to be for you. It's really easy to loose lots of money.
