    Thats awful, I'm really sorry.

As for fix vs replacement, no real input, that's a personal decision, emotionally and utility-based.

No matter what direction you go, I see a solid steel welded brush guard in your future. My old 88 tacoma had one, saved me damage plus was a great platform for setting tools or even standing on when wrenching on parts near the firewall (vertically challenged).

Tis the season, I almost nailed this big bastard in Erroll yesterday morning. I don’t know if the turkey hunters are flushing them or what.
Glad the ol girl protected you.

Nicely done..so does this mean the Stingray stays? You consistently add touches to your truck that i applaud. Let's just say that's not always my reaction to mods I see on these pages (not in this thread of course!) Love the Ivan Stewart touches as well.

A proper motorcycle in the Bed, nice! Did you take any precautions with the tailgate?

Well, shit. I've hit two deer, both in NH, but I spaced 'em out by 30 years. Sorry to hear. At least the garage is warming up for the repair work!

Thank you my friend, I'll probably still sell it at some point for a full bumper up front.

What do you think you can buy the other truck for? And you can only guess what the repair costs for it would be, I suppose. Do you think it would be more than $1500 to purchase and repair the red one?

The red one the asking price is $2650, so if I was extremely lucky the lowest it would go for is 2k, then whatever the "needs engine work" turns out to be. In talking with friends and family today, most of them agree I should fix the white deer magnet.

Put a Shotgun on the front.
They will avoid at all cost

Oops....I didn't even see the asking price. Yeah, that's a lot of money for something that's unknown, even if it is a Tacoma.

Probably better off putting the money into your rig. If nothing else, it's a known quantity. Plus you have that 2nd motor that will eventually be in it

Yeah, the thought also occurred to me that if my repair bill is 1500, I can't buy a vehicle that will reliably make my 2 hour daily commute for that price.

The mass of the weight “barely” sits on the edge of the bed (I love my long bed), so no tacogate for this hombre!

    How's everyone tonight?

Been a cool, drizzly day here. Didn't do anything outside.

I did mount this new Roku TV in my oldest daughter's room.

    You're a good dad!

All I did today was drive in to town and pick up some medication. Sat while the better half had a physio appt. Stopped and paid our water bill. Did some laundry, and spent time with the cats. If was a good relaxing day :)

Sounds like a pretty good day to me.

As for the Roku? She bought it and the wall mount with her own money. Asked if I could mount above the wipe board above her desk. Gave me something to do for an hour or so. :notsure:

Well...had some fun in the "Off Road sucks" thread. Time to shut her down for the night.
