5100s pair with OME leaf pack?

    Can I use the bilstein 5100 rear shocks with the OME leaf pack or do I need the longer 5125s? I know I'll need the longer u bolts. What about a carrier bearing drop?

    Pretty sure you can. Longer u-bolts are a must. And the carrier bearing drop is a case by case thing...so I wouldn't worry about it yet.

    I have to disagree with Brunes on this one. I am pretty sure you need the longer 5125's. If you read the info on the 5100's they tell you to what extent you can use them with a rear lift. Pretty sure its under 2.0"

    It's 0-2 for the 5100's and a 2.75 inch claimed lift from the OMEs...but that's blanket which I have a hard time believing. And I guess it's not what I would do...I use the OME shocks with the OME springs...

    Hopefully some folks who have bilsteins with the Dakar springs chime in!!
