I am selling the transmission/ transfer case crossmember that I replaced with a dual case crossmember. It fits 95-04 Tacoma 4x4’s. It may fit a Prerunner but I’m not certain.
It is an awesome piece of armor and in my opinion the best solution available for protecting the transfer case on these trucks.

This one is used. It saw plenty of dirt/ rocks while under my truck. It is structurally sound and not bent but has plenty of battle scars.
I will include brand new mounts and hardware that came with the dual case unit when I upgraded (they take the same mounts).

See TG’s website for any other info.
    https://trail-gear.com/armor/rock-defense-tacoma-t-case-crossmember.html

    Price is $150.
Located in Pflugerville, Texas (Austin area). Will meet you half way if you are willing to pay for my gas.
I can also install it for you on to your own rig. Add an extra $100 for welding/ labor if you want to go that route.
Feel free to PM me here or call/ text.

I would guess that, more than likely, it will work. Considering the 2 vehicles are so similar. If you’re interested I wouldn’t mind you bringing your 4Runner and doing some fitting/ testing before you pull the trigger.

Any chance you have pictures of it installed? I’m curious how it would interface with a transmission skid plate

I was asked by someone what the battle scars look like.
Here you go.. In my opinion its just surface scratches. These are made from 3/8's plate so they are very stout.
Also included is a picture of the skid installed.

I am also curious how it would interface with other skids, I am guessing it probably only works with other trail gear skids?

also how much would it cost to ship to 93117?

I don’t believe TG makes any other skids for these trucks. Me personally I used to run a SkidRow front IFS skid plate. I never worried about covering the transmission because I had (have) a manual transmission and a very short wheelbase. The manual transmission sits much higher than an auto. I’ve never had anything touch my transmission even when I was IFS. And believe me, there were plenty of opportunities.
I think a bud built belly pan would probably bolt up to the TG Crossmember with a little work.

PS: being that TG is based in CA you can probably find one of their distributors who can get you a good deal on one. I think Polyperformance sells TG. Or hell, you could probably pick one up at their HQ. You’re not THAT far from Fresno..
