Pre/Post Lift and Wheel install pics

Let me say the most important thing first. This is the suspension the truck has needed for a long time. My background is road racing and sports cars. I don’t really care about the lift, yea its nice but just extra to me, it’s the spring rates and shocks that are worth every penny! The truck drives much much better, more responsive to steering input and much less “sway”. If I could sum it up, just not sloppy anymore. I am going to tear up some mall parking lots ; )

Check the third pic, the marks are gone. Trust me the yard looks like a golf course the neighbors already hate me for that, they needed the balance. Still those POS BFG's deserved every bit of it.

Now the trashy side of the story was the second reason to do the burn out was to teach the kids what a real burnout looks like, 7 year old holding the camera. After the disappointing car show competition they saw, I told them I could have won, they now believe me.

My mom, haha Although she never showed me a thing with cars and raised my alone, she knows where I get it from. I have never seen her do a burnout and I knew I didn't have to tell her a thing. The next video you hear me telling her ALRIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH!! i would have never though that day would come.

You stated you put "265/75/17" Nitto Terra Grapplers on 17x9 rims. I don't see a 265/75/17 tire on their website. Were they 265/70/17s? If so, did you go with the P series tire vs LT series tire since they are approved for a 9 inch wide rim?

Love the wheel/tire combo BTW. One of the best I've seen.

WOW I am surprised i posted the worn tire size. You are correct the size is 265/70/17, and they are the P series.

 

Naw. That's the right wheel for sure! Makes the already big enough tire/wheel combo look even bigger!

 

So, I went to Les Schwab today to get a quote on some xd spys and they told me that the 17x9's wouldn't work on my truck and I didn't believe them. Obviously it is working for you?

I have a few questions for ya, nice truck BTW! I am wanting the same lift set-up for my truck, after HOURS of deliberating and thread reading, OME was the winner and I do plan on getting the complete kit with new Dakar leafs. My question is did you have to get longer brake lines in the rear to accomadate the lift, and have you added aftermarket UCA's to the front yet? If not how does it perform at highway speeds with the stock UCA's? The reason I ask is because new UCA's are ALOT of moola, and until I see how it rides for myself without them, I'm not planning on buying them but since your running the same set-up, thought you could help me decide. THANKS!
