Yes, this is what I meant. I don’t know where I got the other term from.

5 gal buckets is what I ended up doing. It was tight height wise with the buckets I got, but I was able to make it work. Cut some cardboard to fit the bottom, stuffed it around the sides to keep it from moving too much, wrapped some duct tape to try and help reinforce it and hope for the best. I had them send me labels as well, mine were prepaid..I assume ECGS will charge me for them later :notsure:

Put on a 4crawler 1" body lift and new body mounts. Roger is a solid guy, I picked up my kit in person and had a really nice chat with him. Excited to finally get to work on this truck, more to come..

They'll charge you once they finish and send em back.

I used 2 Lowe's heavy duty moving boxes, reinforced the bottom with some plywood, and filled it with a bunch of foam packaging. I also taped the crap out of it, what I got in return was a busted up box with some shredded cardboard, luckily nothing was damaged.

Cut and plated my front body mounts. That’s a 35x13.5-15” Krawler there. Gives me room to try for 37” once I tub the firewall.

Sliders are all ready now once the cab is back on. All bolt on. And they line up pretty good with the outside of the Krawlers, tho I’m likely going to have to do a bit more of a spacer than I’d hoped.

Still waiting on some parts, hopefully I see my Non-ADD front end stuff show up this week, then I can get the drivetrain in, and get ready to push it under the cab.

I wouldn't run manual hubs if you're planning on running 37s. Otherwise be ready to swap out a lot of broken CV axles.

I’m only swapping out the centre section, to rid the truck of the vac actuated stub shaft. Keeping the rest as is.

Finished up installing a set of SoloMotorsports 3” lift spindles today.

Starting building the truck back in November when I broke my ankle and was forced to take some time off work. Started as a simple plate bumper then snowballed into me needing a new daily driver lol

Finally got these guys in the other day. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time, stock seats were essentially metal springs and bars by this point.

And I should mention, 37” is for snow, not for summer wheeling. I’ll be on 35” for that.

Looks good! What car are those seats from? Also curious if you had to do any fab work to get the holes to line up.

Yea when I spoke with them on the phone they said they cover shipping one way. So you'll just pay the shipping on the new one they send you.

I built a rear bumper for my truck a while back. I was trying to think of something good to do with the original bumper. I figured I would use it to support my drinking problem...
