How’s everyone doing? New member that just purchased a 03 Tacoma crew cab. So far I’ve just been reading and getting ideas on what projects I want to do. First project is going to be to upgrade the sound system. The factory system is on its way out and all the speakers sound blown. I found write ups for door speakers and the deck but nothing for subwoofers for my model. Anyone know what fits behind the rear seat or have any other ideas? Not looking for heart pounding bass just a nice full sound with a little thump. Thanks guys

single 10" woofer sealed box (the one I have, it still leaves the passenger side open for jumper cables and jack kit) http://caraudiofactory.com/2001-toy....html?osCsid=8112a6e2134986b9faa64f82b1701be4

I have my amp mounted on the floor under the passenger seat. I am powering an extremely cheap Pyle shallow mount DVC 10" (https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/Car...EV6FKuQ6M6ADiGusBv99-61mG-FLyvgUaAjHCEALw_wcB) with a nice older 400w RMS amp.

I have a custom box for my 10” alpine type r shallow mount, made by Marv (a guy here on the forums) that we managed to get behind the rear driver side seat of my double cab. It’s pretty sweet because it’s hidden and doesn’t take away any double cab functionality. I’ll edit this post when I’m back at home in a few hours with photos, this photo was taking during install, I’ll take some when I’m home of the finished product.

I have it in mine. They are ok....definitely dont perform as good as a traditional woofer. I put one in, didn't do enough for me, so I put a second one in, seems tolerable now. Later down the road I would like to upgrade.
