    Or....we can cut out the bolts currently in there and replace them with new ones and bypass the bending. But they you are adding another $20-30 to the cost by adding new bolts.

    @Bertw192 can add some details

    I and many others have avoided bending the inner fender sheet metal, by cutting the existing UCA bolt head off and then flipping the bolt the opposite direction when installing the new UCA. This is the fastest and easiest way to install. The Pro: You don't bend sheet metal and cause a potential point for future rusting. The Con: It's not installed the same direction as the factory bolt. Some people fear that "IF" the nut were to come off, the bolt could "fall" out, from gravity, as it's sloped downwards. The reality, once you've torqued the bolt to 80 ft-lbs and you see the load that it's under, it isn't "falling" out. I went a step further and put a witness mark on the bolt and nut, so you can visually see that the nut isn't coming loose. Some very knowledgeable individuals on this forum have cut the bolt, and I've yet to hear of anyone's UCA falling off.

    Good luck. $425 is a solid deal on freshly rebuilt Icon UCA's. I had this exact set for quite a while and they performed excellent.

    no doubt it is a killer deal and i would much rather give my hard earned stimulus money aka your tax dollars to local people than to a scummy shop like 4wp.
