After finally unlocking my ECU and glancing at some of the capabilities, I'm excited to see all of the interesting ways that people end up utilizing vF Tuner to alter their trucks. There's so much available it's overwhelming! I know it'll take a while for people to get familiar with the software, but I sure am ready to move passed discussing batteries and alternators.

I too am excited to check out the software and modify my tune but with new ECU versions on the horizon and 2.0 not yet being released, I think it’ll be a while before people spend their initial ECU credits to unlock their current ECU version.

Waiting for my registry document...in the interim, I have a TSB flash appointment at the dealership tomorrow.

I have no idea. That's the hold up...

With the registry I could identify it. I have been waiting on it since last week.

I was about to unlock my ecu last night, but thought I better wait. I don't think their is a TSB for my 04b31 ECU yet, but maybe it's coming? no reason for me to utilize vftuner quite yet without having an ovtune to customize, but was thinking i could play around in the software to better familiarize myself. Any idea's when ovtunes will be available to us in vFtuner? i'm assuming after 2.0F is dropped.

My guess would be after 2.0f too, it would make sense.

MT, all ECUs should be ready to go by this weekend in vF Tuner. 16-20.

    Thanks!

About 04B14, if I update from 04B13, does the ECU license roll to the new calibration or do I need to get more credits?

I'm placing odds on no. That would be challenging for the vendor to manage. Unless there's something on the back-end of the credit manager that can sync things together. But I suppose this is simply conjecture on my part.

I agree and that was my guess also. It would just mean that I hold onto the credits until the TSB, FM, and vF are all rolled out.

Since no MT ECUs are available to unlock, all you MT guys should still have your credits.

If you KOW you are going to upgrade to 04B14, don't unlock B13, otherwise you'll have to purchase 4 more credits

Yessir! Credits are patiently sitting there.

Thanks for the info! No rush on this side. Loving 2.0.

I unlocked probably 4-5 hours before the thread announced a new ECU. I'll pay another $75 if necessary. But I'm auto, and 04A61 so perhaps it won't happen, or will be awhile.

That sucks. It is all speculation at the moment, and I am guilty of a lot of it.
