I flashed V13 a few days ago, but the weather here has been gorgeous and with the little bit of driving I'm doing right now, the KTM has been my weapon of choice. Looking forward to it, though!

Got it! Will hit you back in the AM.

Long day in the garage swapping rear springs and complete axle in a buddy’s truck. Tuned of course!

Wow you flashed v13 to your manual??!?!? Haha, musta been your buddies truck.

Yeah the v13 tune has proven to be in my driving REALLY nice. I was skeptical at first changing the downshift curves so drastically from the mid to end of the throttle pedal input but MAN what a difference. It makes the truck drive so much smoother, you roll your foot in and it goes, I shall downshift for you, no more meeeehhhh i think I'm gonna wait OK ALLL THE DOWNSHIFTS.

Yall can thank @12TRDTacoma for the "v13" tune. He had a custom "v12" tune I made for him which made downshift curves linear and got rid of the shelf at the end... this is what got me thinking about how to implement on a "normal" truck. I landed in between his and what was the original v12 tune.

So what you’re saying is you can have an even spicier trans tune for me than @12TRDTacoma ? Really need you to just come visit and we can mess with a full race tune

I feel that my V12 version still has requires too much pedal input prior to downshift. There's like a lag which I can't quantify in writing but definitely while I'm driving it.

I could definitely go for more aggressive shifting still. :D:thumbsup:

Like for real, forget about road manners, make me something you’d consider to be a “race” tune and I’ll give it a shot with whatever updates @JustDSM comes up with once I figure out how to update to the latest beta and get him some correct logs lol

Just to give you an idea of how aggressive I like it, I used to downshift my modded/ tuned/ built tranny equipped 05 GTO.. and that thing had WAY better shift logic and didn't have the hill issues of these trucks.

Hit me up once you get things sorted on JustDSM's side of the fence, 12TRD's trans tune might be applicable to your setup too

I can make some extra spicy taco sauce for you (and likely snowsk8air). You havent changed anything trans tuning wise since the last trans tune (v12 spec 1)? Any requests to upshift changes / tcc? or just even quicker downshiftin?

Nah, no changes to the tranny side of it. I'd probably say TCC engagement seems to take too long to get out of when it is approaching uphill climbs. There is too much lugging and the pedal requires too much percentage input prior to a downshift. Upshifting and whatnot is cool. It's just mostly downshifting when it needs to downshift that needs more spice, lol.

What @12TRDTacoma is saying will probably be perfect for me. We like it spicy even though he’s much further down the sc rabbit hole than me. And @JustDSM i just shot you an email. Hopefully I figured it out this time.

mkkkk mkkk *rubs chin* we can do some tweaking, less agressive tcc lockup release (i like mine to stay hella locked deep in the pedal to keep trans temps down). Downshift curves ill sprinkle some more nd4's spicy taco sauce on.

So I've figured out the equation for logging the boost vac gauge with the speedhut family of gauges.

    (Voltage*22.77015)-41.385075=inches of mercury(hg)

to convert hg to psi ---> hg/2.036=psi
I'm sure there is a way to add to the math so that above "0" it switches to psi instead of HG but I cant figure out how to tell hptuners to do that in the custom maths.
    (**awaits Justin to share knowledge)
Since logging amount of vacuum isn't that important to me- I'm just gonna do
((Voltage*22.77015)-41.385075)/2.036 for the maths to only log psi for now.

Unfortunately I don't think we're going to be able to get it to display in hg for vac and psi for boost. It's going to be one or the other. I can however create a custom math parameter so that way you can display both hg and psi at the same time.
