ive used the search item, and ive found some answers, but i still have some quick questions:

my tacoma is 2007 trd sport 4x4, i know it has LSD, but do both back tires spin at the same time in 2wd? also when i have 4x4 engaged, because it is LSD, does that mean just 1 front and 1 back tire spins, and whichever one is getting traction spins? thanks for the help in advance:)

There isn't an lsd in the front, it's an open diff. The rear is still lsd, so it will provide traction to the wheel with the least spin. Is that what you were looking for?

yes it does thanks, and sorry if this has already been answered, but with the LSD in the rear, is that in 2wd as well as 4wd, and are both back tires spinning at the same time, or just the one with most traction like you said? thanks a lot for the help

The lsd rear will provide more power to the wheel with the most traction in 2wd or 4wd.

    Just FYI,
    I have a 2007 DC TRD Sport 4x4

Both tires don't always necessarily spin together. It's a limited slip, not a locked axle. The intent is it will act like an open differential on dry pavement, allowing you to turn without binding up, but if one tire starts to spin, it transfers power to the other tire as well. You have LSD in 2wd and in 4wd.

I'd recommend finding some greasy hardpack, loose gravel or light mud and get some first hand experience :D

Nope, no front locker for the TRD OR. Remember to air down the tires for the sand, it'll make a huge difference.
