NICE! Just ordered my black surround today to do the same. Slowly but surely getting rid of the chrome!

 

Looks good. When I built my dog platform I padded it with foam before covering with vinyl and put 1/4 round along the perimeter so the dog would be less likely to slip off.

 

Had a full detail and ceramic coat... shout out to Dr. Detail

i spent saturday washing, claying, compounding, polishing and applying the turtle wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray!

 

Its close to the same price depending which Clazzios you get. I think the leather can look better with the stitch pattens and what not, I’m not a fan of leather though. I would say any of the big brands (Clazzio, Katzkins, Wet Okole, and Bartact) are all on par. Just depends on your intended use. I like them because they clean really easy and even pet hair wipes off pretty easy.

 

I would have done that... but then I realized I didn't want to, lol.

nice, i had a 2014 m235i (not that 2020 m235i gran coupe monstrosity that they just released). i definitely miss the smoothness of the inline 6 engine. the tacoma has forced me to completely change my driving style.

 

How did you wire the momentary line into the ABC relay (assuming)?

 

Specifically I used the foam that goes under laminate flooring.

 

Yeah I should be able to go to Lowe's or HD and get some carpet padding for a few bucks a linear foot. I will go back at some point to grab that.

added rubber toyota hitch cover, new license plate frames (front and back) and did the RAV4 radio knobs mod

 

I started my interior mods with this glove box lettering set. Ordered mods are: red vent rings, red MESO start button, these letters of course and I'm going to paint the driver dash bezel cement.

 

I connected the two ABC harness control wires to @MESO ‘s 2nd connection using a couple of marrettes. I only need a quick look behind once in a while so I didn’t use a relay. The camera only turns on when I hold the shifter switch.
