Buy all the .22 bullets you can find, cause once they start they'll go fast. I need to find some more :D

Thx for the replies. Well I went to a local shop that dealt with Elite, Diamond, Bear and Bowtech. I held numerous bows from the flagship models to more entry level stuff. The one bow that stuck out to me was the new Bowtech Carbon Icon. It was stupid light 3.2lbs naked. It’s supposed to send arrows 330fps which is more than plenty. I can get it out the door for about $600 naked. Does anyone have any experience good or bad with this bow? Thanks again.

Were you able to shoot the Icon? If possible, I think it is advisable to try and shoot various bows to compare how they feel.

Having said that, I really like the current Bowtech bows. The PowerShift technology is great. I shoot a Prodigy and it has a very smooth draw cycle. I can acquire the target faster with my Prodigy than with my Mathews Halon 32. The Prodigy is a real pleasure to shoot. I have never shot the Icon. I would hope it would be just as smooth, but if possible I would really encourage you to ask your local shop to set one up for you to shoot.

80 yard group ready for turkeys this weekend. Hoping to not have to throw a hail mary, but rather be prepared just in case

No I was not. Not yet at least. He’s gonna set up up so I can shoot it and I’ll really see how I like it. But just holding this bow, it felt more natural in my hand then a few of the others.

While you are there shooting the Icon, you might want to shoot an Elite Ritual 30 and a Bear Species LD. Both those bows have specs similar to the Icon and you could compare them and see if you like one over the other. Not trying to talk you out of anything, I just think it is good to check other bows out just in case one might feel better than another.

I got some annihilators. I think the iron will is a bit much for where I'll be, super rocky and if I blow through a turkey, sharpening those is a pita

I know IW offers free replacement if damaged. Do they offer any sharpening? Hardened A2 can be a bitch, unless you are working on a surface grinder.

No they don't. You have to disassemble and do it by hand basically. That's why I won't be shooting them at turkeys.

Wish I could help. Never heard of it before your post. Very intriguing. Might have to give that a try.

I know a guy that made his own. They seem to work as there are always deer touching it on his trail cams.
