I don’t have much of it. But if it breaks I definitely won’t be buying more of the same. I’ll put your name in the hat though.

it’s just depressing that all Craftsman hand tools aren’t made in USA, they were when I started wrenching 30 years ago, but oh well...so it goes!

Oh I still break shit but it's standing behind it to get them replaced that's a big one for me too. I have spares on spares. I'm not spending my time and money running around to get stuff warrantied. And if the truck guy wants to find a way to not warranty well there is a reason why most of my stuff is snap on and cornwell. I've got a few favorite tools that Mac and matco make that the others don't but I hesitate wanting to spend my money with them.

Oh and HF tools are relegated to the truck because if they get left on the trail oh well.

I know for a fact they are gearing up to make a lot more of it in the USA again.

Any tool from HF is considered a disposable tool.

Example: Snap-On's floor jack vs HF's yellow Daytona floor jack... Which is an absolute beast if I may say so.

Where on earth are you getting snap-on tools. Aren't they just sold off their trucks at mechanics shops?

I always assumed you could contact a local vendor and they'll come out to you. They're all independent franchisees.

I’ve ordered directly from Snap On, and also local trucks.

I think he's talking about making adjustments on things when you can't use a socket or solid axle ball joints etc.
My box was over 30g and it was slam pack full. We can also make 6 figures if you hustle and find the right shops etc. A saying that my first boss taught me is they make boxes with wheels on them for a reason. Hustle and look for a place you can make the $$$$ at put in your worth and you get rewarded.
They've been doing that since the restructuring and Lowe's buying them. I hope they get away from the weekend warrior stuff and start getting back to the stuff they use to do and compete with sk and the like. I think sears only selling was what kinda drove them to what they became and now they kinda have a tarnished name and some work to do to get out of that hole.

Online ordering. You can go on their website. Or if you see a truck at a shop you can jump on it and pay for the tool in full.

As far as pliers, I like channel lock and Klein, still American made. I still have my dad’s Klein lineman pliers and channel-locks probably both at least a half a century old

Klein’s great. Channel locks alright (I keep having an issue breaking mine).

Knipex anything I’ve bought from them hands down are the best.
