Sometimes the pin connector piece burns inside the plug and doesnt make contact anymore. Looks like it burned.but can only assume its the problem since its not working right now. But that plug would have to be fixed anyhow. Hope that fixes it

Jenn says the resistor didn't make the fan work. She needs to check the fan motor connector, right? Anyone got a pic?
jenn, it's right behind the glove box. Take the glove box out and you will see it. Unplug it from the motor and take a pic of the plug.

Jenn you might need a blower motor.

The resistor failed and left you with only one speed (common problem, well documented on here) but you mentioned smacking the blower motor with your hand could get it to work again. That is a symptom of worn out brushes in the blower motor. They lose contact and by smacking it you shake them into making contact again. Just like smacking a bad starter can get it working again temporarily.

But yes, check for a loose or burned connector too

Yeah, I know. I got frustrated and took it all off and I know I'd freeze to death in the winter. I hate being cold...

I feel like I'm just going to have to try to afford to pay someone else to fix it...I can do many things but this seems like it's too much for me...

No, you’ve already proven you have what it takes. Don’t give up now. Almost there. Do you have a multimeter?

Lol. I proved to smack myself in the eye... and no, I had to buy a tool just to strip the wires. Very little tools!

Just think, if you had sliders it would hurt even worse. ;)
Just take the glove box out... you did take it out to change out the resister right? Then just stop, take a break.
Come back here and we will tell you what to look at. K?

Nope, laid on the floor and did it under the dash. That's how I whacked my eye...
