Hvac blower motor resistor help!!

Im supposed to be looking for what under the glove box exactly? Another connector with burns?

 

This is what im afraid of, I wonder how much it will cost me to pay someone to fix it. Scared to look.

 

I'm guessing the blower motor. That's where it's located.

 

At this point, just get the glove box out. Baby steps. I feel bad for not telling you to take it out in the first place.

 

Meh, the blower motor (even though its bigger) is bolted into that dash much the same way as that little resistor.

If you can get your hands on a little test light you can check and make sure its getting power. If its getting power and not spinning then its bad.

Well I suck at stripping and connecting wires, I'm definitely no electrician.

 

If it comes to that, its only 2 wires that you'll be dealing with, and they're fairly big. Easier to handle and mess with

 

That is a multimeter! Hook everyone back up and ohm out the wires. That will tell you what needs fixing. If they’re all good and you get power at the blower it’s the blower motor itself
