That is bad ass! I will find out this week if Beardsley’s gate is open. I’ll also be out camping again this weekend so I can check the back way in’s gate. Almost certain forestry will keep the main gate closed until after the 15th because of Covid :annoyed:. Fishing was pretty crowded this past weekend but we managed to find a few different spots.

Ok @Uphillshunter let me know if you come this way Sunday. I think I’m ready for a drive. Still have the exhaust leak but it’s not as bad as I thought and I’m still waiting on parts to fix it.

Ya... 3rd Gen runner and 1st Gen Taco are cousins. They share a lot of the same parts.

6cyl in either one is a 5vz-fe engine

Are there any similarities in suspension parts?

Yes... UCAs are the same. The only differences I've seen is the sway bar and disconnects.

    Matt is right... @roguegs

You should buy LBJs and Outer Tie Rod ends for a 1st gen Tacoma and get rid of the 4 Runner ones.

    Spindles are the same.

I’ve actually considered this but never looked into doing it, or if it’s possible. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be if the spindles are the same. Assuming you don’t have any problems with the sway bar since the 1st gen Tacoma OTRs are shaped differently
