2005 DC - gas odor?

I have a 2005 DC and get a slight odor in the interior. It's been going on for about 6 months now. I checked everywhere and have found no obvious leaks. Any suggestions?

 

You do know this thread will probably get you some knucklehead responses. Is it worse with the blower on ?

 

Well aware of that, but at this point it's driving me nuts!
I still get it when the fan / ac is off!

Vapor return canister or line plugged up? Is it all the time or only after you fill up?

 

Did you spill some gas in the cab? Do you drive with the re-circ on? if not, you should.

after looking at your previous threads, i saw this. which was a little over 6 onths ago when you said the problem started...

Is it possible that whatever you used to remove the paint spilled on your interior, or went down inside your door? I wouldn't think that it would linger this long, but just a thought.

 

Good point, but I removed the decals prior to install.

 

ah. well, you could just use a match. move it around in your cab and see what lights up, then follow the trail to the source
