@Greg's Outdoors in other words, in order for that to work, you'd have to hold the ECT button down the whole time

AKA figure out something else to tie to the second stealth switch connection....or get a latching relay setup.

Now to figure out what I have that could be tied into this slick mod

Look back in the thread. There's a module that'll do it.

Texting millennials have become immune to the normal range of car horn blasts. Burrito-Taco may be right, air horns maybe no longer a novelty mod for jerk-offs but necessary safety feature.

Not that there's anything wrong with millennials... NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH MILLENNIALS.

Let me know when you have the wiring diagram sorted out Burrito-Taco.

Will do, most states outlaw them on their decibel levels but I would rather get a ticket then get wrecked again. Will do.

No worries, Kleinn just finished doing a beta test for the new Tacoma and others. June is supposed to be when they will release one so I’m waiting to see what they product. They have great quality.

No, this is what they call a momentary switch. Here's a quote off the web: "Momentary switches are switches which only remain in their on state as long as they’re being actuated (pressed, held, magnetized, etc.). Most often momentary switches are best used for intermittent user-input cases; stuff like reset or keypad buttons."

And yet you don't hold down the ECT button. You press it once and it's on. You press it again to turn it off. I'm sure you're right and I'm missing something. I'm just not an electrician.

The parking assist is exactly the same. You press it once and it's on. You have to press it again to turn it off.

I thought the parking assist was like the qi charger.

The ECT and Parking Assist buttons are still momentary switches but the functions they control do not require constant voltage to operate; they're toggles. You're likely just sending a signal to the ECU or some other component that will use a software latch. That's how I understand it. Not an electrician.

So regardless of a relay or working directly with the yellow and white wiring within the 2nd Stealth button...can anyone source a diagram or information on what wires are what for the park assist button/wire harness?? Then, hypothetically, it could be tested either with a relay or directly wired (hot and ground from harness to stealth wiring harness hot and ground).

Work it out on your own. Test the wires directly. One will be for the lighted portion of the switch and one for the load side of the switch. Easy enough to find the dimmer wires because they'll change with the headlight function.

Testing will end up something like this...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NovCph2fMWU

No multimeter at the house...and I have like 8 friends of 20+ years that are electricians and electronics techs...shameful!

    Center console organizer.
And you'll also need to take into consideration the amount of current you're going to have running through that switch... it's not rated very high (1A, I believe).
