Put on the new grips only to find i dont like the extra thickness. Uncomfortable for my previously broken hand.

I like the rogue grips on my mountain bike. Don’t like the griffins on the grom. Love the half waffles on the dirtbike.

The first time I dropped my new bike I was a little butt hurt but then realized its just a bike and all I broke was a brake lever tip. Super muddy and wet which helped limit the damage. The second time was a good downhill slide in the sand into a rock embankment and was good motivation to get the better tires I wanted.

Really any new tire. Have to take it easy and scrub them in for the first 50-100 miles. Even worse with crappy stock tires though.

Honestly the stock tires on my 750 took me a lot of places before I finally gave up on them. Anakee 3s don't look like much but they will get you to the end of every dirt road in Alaska with a little careful riding.

I didnt expect much from stock street tires, especially in the loose sand/dirt combo around here.
to be clear, i was off road, about 3 miles and 3000' elevation from pavement

the rogues felt soft but i put the half waffle back on the 300xcw. i didnt expect a couple mm thickness to make that much of a difference.

ordered some renthal dual compound in 29mm diameter, although im not sure if they will really fit. the throttle tube on the 690 measured ~25mm diameter but those rogues only had a ~23mm diameter. guess ill find out. wish it had lock-ons like the 300. 5 mins and grips can be changed in/out
