Not too bad for those that can weld. ARB will be the only thing I'd ever swap too. That is my absolute favorite bumper ever made. I love the timeless look of it.

I have two of the kits in the shop now. Very impressed with them and how easy they go together

Yeah, it's been stupid slow around here lately especially with YouTube gone lol. Just sitting here trying to keep sane/awake.
Next thing I need to get done for the truck is probably that relay panel thing that I've already been putting off for forever or the brakes that I've also been putting off.

Eh, if that's your thing. Personally I think they stick out too far.

You too huh? I 'member the days of yore when we could peruse that there vidya site.

Anyway, I think it's about time to do brakes myself. I pretty much only highway drive so slowing down from 70mph twice a day takes its toll after two years. I might be able to get by another couple of months though.
I'm pretty good with wiring for audio, but the thought of wiring on the truck scares me personally. I really don't want to mess up and walk out to a charred pile. Currently though, I don't have any extra powered accessories aside from a dash cam. I'd like to wire that in to be on with the key with a switch for work, since I can't have video recording on premises.
Been kicking around the idea of getting some Amazon special lights, especially if i get this bumper since it's got square fog holes haha. So I guess that'll be something to tackle. I kinda want to do something waterproof like an RTMR.

    I wish I could weld :D
I just love the timeless look of them. I have no doubt there are bumpers just as good or better, just not my cup of tea :D
That's the beauty of aftermarket parts. We can get what we want

Yeah, I had a caliper wear a pad down early not long ago but it's doing alright for now. I need to replace everything soon though.
I have fog lights, bed lights, and the dash cam that are extra. I hate doing electrical and wiring and all that shit. Don't wanna zap myself or fry the harness or burn the truck down. I want to put the relay/fuse block in there with a breaker to help prevent that and to make sure everything else is wired up properly. I have a small light bar and a couple pod things that I got from TWSS this year that I'll see about putting on the truck and I want to do heated seats before next winter. So I want to have spots open for when/if I get around to wiring that shit up, too. I do want to replace the fogs in the ARB with amber ones, as well.

I'm basically going to copy yours but I'm going to add a relay panel to it, I think.

What would the purpose of a relay panel do? I'm not that knowledgeable with electronics :D

    Here's the takeaway

Why not just use an ordinary on/off switch, you ask? Here are some reasons why relays are better than switches:

    1. A correctly wired relay will provide the shortest electrical path (i.e. shortest wire length) between the battery and the device(s) controlled by the relay. Combined with the proper gauge wire, this will minimize the voltage drop between the battery and the device, allowing it to function at peak performance levels.
    2. Using relays allows you to control a number of devices with a single switch (a master ignition switch on a race car, for example). Having only one switch to turn off is safer in an emergency, and more convenient as well. If you’re into clean-looking systems, you can use one switch and several relays instead of a bank of bulky switches.
    3. Relays allow you to use the proper size fuse for each device, and to place the fuses closer to the battery.
    4. If you use a vehicle’s stock wiring and switches to control aftermarket devices like high-output lighting, relays will not overload or stress the OEM components. The average automotive relay can also handle a much higher current load than a switch (about 30 amps vs. 3-20 amps).

Yeah, I used to spend my nights on YT researching shit to do with the truck or educating myself on something or another.
Now I sit on here and scroll through Reddit mindlessly.
    Much less productive, IMO.
