Hey all. I hope the Tacoma based social distancing life is treating you well. I was able to order a Prinsu rack for my 2020 double-cab and am now looking for awning options. I'm fairly set on a 5' or so size (mounting edge) as I don't want something with a pronounced overhang due to the increased potential to snag on trail things.

I'm currently leaning towards the ARB Universal Awning 1250 and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a similar product with potential better functional design; CVT, Thule, others?

Thanks in advance for any experience based feedback.

I went ARB and installed it yesterday. Both the rack and awning took about 3 hours to as a single person job.

Did you stick with the arb 1250? What do you think about the size now that you have it? (That’s what she said)

It fits nicely on the side. Would I like larger, yes. Did I want a bunch of overhang, no. Parking the vehicle to optimize the angle of the sun, there’s plenty of shade for a couple of chairs, a table, and a cooler.
