The only thing was that they had different colors for the casters that rotate and the fixed wheels. Sorry, I can't remember which store it was, I'm leaning towards Home Depot though.

Thanks, I'm doing some looking at mcmaster carr right now. This will be on a welding table so it'll have to be super HD even though I'm building a relatively light duty table. I just want it on wheels so I can pull it off my garage wall into the center for larger projects. I like those that you've got though since I want to redo my cart too.

This is the style I like. allows you to use lighter and cheaper casters, yet have a rock solid fab table.

I found some with a 350lb capacity per, so with 4 of them should be adequate. They had some nicer ones with sealed bearings and higher load rating but at $60 per, I don't feel like dropping that amount of coin on it. I'll upgrade later on if these ones suck.

That’s slick. I made this years ago for larger circles, works great. It’s upside down in the last photo, the center point goes down.

Sorry I confused you it was a general comment about big weave beads.

I sometimes forget for the most your all hobby welders and click into my work mode now is a bad time since most of my work is on the phone and online.

Going back to school in the seventies big weave beds were drummed into my head as a no no this was reinforced through more school and employers .So it became a habit or maybe muscle memory along with other things.

To the point running stringer beads was just a habit instead of a big weave .

Run stringer beads on any joint in any position rather then a big weave .

The point being some might go for a pre interview weld test run a big weave on a tee joint and not get called back.

When one does your own projects it is no big deal do what you want.

Looks fantastic! I like what you did with the cutouts for the hitch, so you could put a pin through. That was pretty clever.

edit: I can't tell because of the lighting, but did you stitch weld the inside of those wings too?

i would have preferred the hitch pin on the backside of the bumper. thats how i did my "frame cap" bumper. less to scrape up your hand

Thanks! I was mad at first that I cut them too wide, however they Ended up being perfect because they also allow access to install the tag lights and feed the wires out the back of the bumper.

I always forget to take pictures when I’m building stuff, and took that picture after I had cleaned everything up for the night. That’s why the lighting sucks.

I did stitch weld the insides of it, and probably more than I needed to. In fact I think looking at your bumper build pics on IG is what made me think to do it.

That would have been nice, but there is not enough room to do that through a 4x4 tube unless I did a lot more notching in it. And I like the way it looks.

I was gonna say the same. I don't know the exact measurement but the pin hole is about 2.5" from the front of the hitch, so it ends up right in the center of the tube.

Hey, no such thing as too much. I got the idea while talking to Joe, owner of Mobtown Offroad. He's been giving me tips and tricks throughout the build. Makes a lot of sense and I'm not sure if I would have thought to do it myself.
