Question: Will 315/75/16’s fit with the maxtrac spindle and with Bilstein 5100’s set at 1.75” up front ?

Probably run 4.5” backspacing for the rims , would I still need to trim a lot ? Or just run 1.25” wheel spacers ?

That back spacing should be fine. But you will need to cut some inner fender and maybe even a cmc. But they should still fit. Do it!

@SpeedyGonzales310 I notice you have a first gen. Are you thinking of using maxtracs on it? These are for 2nd and 3rd gens only.

I haven’t been on this website for years . I had a 1st gen , mid traveled it , then long traveled the front . Was about to do a SUA Deaver setup and then I was t boned by a drunk driver and totaled the truck . State Farm paid me out and I recently got a 2nd gen and was looking for just a simple lift , that being said I’m not trying to do much to it . I just purchased the maxtrac spindles but I’m trying to see what size tire I can squeeze in there without doing a cab mount chop . would 315’s still run the cab mount with a 1.25 wheel spacer ?

You might. I didn't need to do a cmc on my prerunner with 295\70s but I didn't do much off roading with them. A 35" tire may need it depending on how good your alignment tech is and how much caster he can get on your truck. Honestly a cmc is a very minor thing to do. Even if you don't add a filler plate in. Sorry to hear about your 1st Gen. Love those trucks!

315s will require a CMC some fender trimming and smashing the pinch weld down. An alignment that gets caster up into 3.5+ range helps alot also Pushing the wheel out with spacers actually puts the wheel closer to the cab mount at full steering lock...its a geometry thing if you feel like figuring it out..have at it.

Did you have to tub the firewall to stuff the 37s with the spindles?

New to the thread, here's my 2015 runner, with 4inch maxtrac spindles 265/70/17 MTs and some other cosmetic goodies.
